YS Jagan consoles bereaved family of Manda Prasad
YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday consoled the family members of YSRCP follower Manda Prasad who committed suicide by jumping into a lake after YSRCP did not come into power.
Prasad had worked for one of the party contestants in the recently concluded elections.
Upset over the party not coming to power, Prasad committed suicide by jumping into a lake at Pidurupadu of Krishna district recently.
YS Jagan had come to know about the news through Milavaram constituency coordinator Jogi Ramesh. Soon after hearing about the death, YS Jagan spoke to Prasad's wife Dinamma and daughter Bhargavi over the phone and consoled them.
He assured them that he would stand by them always. He also promised them that he would meet them personally when he visits the district.
