YS Jagan calls up kidnapped contractor's family
YSR Congress chief YS Jagan called up the family members of civil contractor Maheshwar Reddy, who was kidnapped by Bodo militants in Assam.Jagan instilled confidence in the beleaguered family members and told them that he had spoken to the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh. He expressed the hope that Reddy would soon be set free by the militants.A civil contractor , Maheswar Reddy is a native Hasanapuram village of Ramapuram mandal in YSR district. Class 1 contractor Maheswar Reddy had earlier worked as Sarpanch of his village.
Since 3 years, he has been residing in Gachibowli . Jagan spoke to Reddy's wife Subadramma, Daughter Nishitha and Son Manjunath. Currently. Maheshwar Reddy is working as sub-contractor in ILF in Gujarath, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Assam.
Jagan instructed Party M.P.'s Avinash Reddy, Y.V.Subba Reddy, Mithun Reddy to stay in Delhi and liaise with the Home Ministry on the issue.
