YS Jagan backs steel plant demand

Hyderabad: The leaders of the Steel Plant Sadhana Samiti (SPSS), who are fighting for the establishment of a Steel Plant in YSR Kadapa District, met YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the city on Thursday. They submitted a memorandum to YS Jagan seeking his support to the cause.

As per the provisions of the AP Reorganisation Act, the Centre will have to set up a steel plant within six months of the division. However, it is already 24 months and no action has been initiated so far. The leaders asked YS jagan to bring pressure on the Government to set up th efactory. YS Jagan assured to take up the issue.
