YS Jagan backs Ramavarappadu oustees

Vijayawada: The realignment of Vijayawada Inner Ring Road project near Ramavarappadu clearly shows that the Andhra Pradesh Government is favouring the TDP leaders, YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said.

YS Jagan, who was on his way to Nuzvid, stopped at Ramavarappadu to speak to the people affected by the realignment of the Outer Ring Road. Residents of Ramavarappadu staged a dharna and resorted to rasta roko when revenue officials issued eviction notices to them on Sunday. The YSRCP leader condemned the government action. The residents who are living for the last several decades in the area have not been adequately compensated nor informed about the impending demolitions, he said.
MLA Appa Rao Bereaved: YSRCP leader YS Jagan met Nuzvid MLA Meka Venkat Pratap Appa Rao and conveyed his condolences on the death of his wife Sujatha Devi. Several YSRCP MPs and MLAs accompanied YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
