YS Jagan Assures Employees Of Scrapping CPS

Kurnool: AP Leader of the Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday met families of Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) employees to learn about their problems. As part of his 10th day walkathon — Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Allagadda town of Kurnool district, the YSRCP Chief assured the families of necessary help.

Families of PET Suresh and Telugu pandit Suresh, who lost their lives recently, told YS Jagan that they has not yet received any pension from the state government. Following an assurance from YS Jagan, the CPS Employees Union expressed happiness. YS Jagan, who met people from the Muslim community listened to their tales of suffering under the TDP regime.

Earlier, Balasadhan students of Women and Child Development met YS Jagan and shared their problems with him. The students don't have proper transport facility to the school nor do they have a drinking water plant at the premises, he was told. YS Jagan directed the party workers to set up a mineral water plant at the school.

During his padayatra, the elderly, women, children, students and farmers greeted YS Jagan in every village he went. The Leader of the Opposition appealed to students and farming community not to take the extreme step of committing suicide and promised them of ushering in an era of prosperity--Rajanna Rajyam, soon.
