YS Bharathi lashes out at police atrocities
Y S Bharathi, wife of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy lashed out at the police for not allowing the family members inside the Nampalli court premises on Friday.
YS Bharathi says: “It’s atrocious to stop the family members. Where are we? What kind of justice it is? What kind of country is this? What kind of state is this? Can’t allow people to walk? It is unfair on the part of the police to prevent them from entering the court premises.” She reached Nampalli court along with YS Vijayamma and other family members. She expressed her anguish the way the police imposed restrictions even for family members.
Meanwhile, the police acted in excesses at the Nampalli court. They took some YSRCP workers into custody before the Jagan’s arrival at the court. A lawyer was caned while entering into the court. Advocates protested against the police excesses. Vijaya Reddy, YSRCP leader, who was offering prayers at Hanuman temple was taken into custody. Even the media was not allowed inside the barricades.
Former home minister Sabita Indra Reddy, auditor Vijaysai Reddy and others reached the court.
