Youth Pays Rs4 Lakh To Fake Agency For Male Escort Job  

Hyderabad: A youth from Motinagar was duped to the tune of Rs4 lakh by a fake male-escort agency which promised to provide a job as a male escort. The accused, Sanjay Takhur, was arrested in Bihar and brought to the city on a transit warrant.

Explaining about his modus operandi, the officials said that, the accused operated from Bihar through online process. He advertised for male escort jobs in various dailies and trapped the youth.

A youth from Motinagar fell prey to the trap and contacted them over the phone. The accused, who posed as an employer of Female Friendship Club in Jubille Hills promised him to give a male escort job along with club membership. He then asked him to pay Rs5,500 for one year membership. After few weeks, he asked him to deposit Rs2 lakh. Later, another 2 members Rajeev Ranjan and Prem calling from the same company asked him to transfer Rs2 lakh, to which the victim obeyed. However, he grew suspicious as the demand increased, following which he approached police officials.

The main accused has been nabbed, and a manhunt was launched to nab other members.
