Youth drowns in Godavari
A youth drowned in river Godavari in Koti Lingala village in Karimnagar district while taking a holy dip on the occasion of 'Mahashivratri'.
Santosh Kumar (20), an MBA student from Bommareddy Palli village, had gone to a Lord Shiva's temple in Koti Lingala with his family members. While taking dip in the river, he was swept away by the strong currents and drowned on Tuesday.
Family members later fished out the body. A case has been registered in this regard and the body was sent for post-mortem.
