Youth Commits Suicide After Watching Videos And Preparing Notes On How To Hang Self 

Hyderabad: A 24-year-old engineering graduate on Wednesday committed suicide at Anupama Men’s Hostel in SR Nagar here after watching videos for tips on how to hang oneself.

The youth had listed 10-step method on how to commit suicide by hanging like how to tie the rope to the ceiling fan and how to tighten the nook by watching videos on the same on a social media platform

According to a suicide note, purportedly written by Navin Kumar, he had jotted down points on killing himself with the help of a rope, SR Nagar Police Station Inspector Md Waheeduddin said.

“The youth had listed 10-step method on how to commit suicide by hanging like how to tie the rope to the ceiling fan and how to tighten the nook by watching videos on the same on a social media platform,” the Inspector said.

As per the suicide note he was under depression and hence resorted to the extreme step, the police officer said, adding a case under section 174 CrPC has been registered

Kumar, a native of Nalgonda district had been staying at the hostel since February this year and was pursuing coaching for some courses.
