Yet Another Love Torture

Hyderabad: Girls are very cautious when it comes to falling into a relationship; they examine everything about the guy before allowing him into their life.But still most of the girls are facing betrayal and harassment by their male partners.

Going by the popular perception that educated boys are not problematic, girls accept their proposals more easily. And here is a BTech graduate with specialization in Bio-Informatics who was put behind bars for harassing a girl in the name of love.

B. Tilak, a native of Khammam, did his BTech in Chennai and is now working in Hyderabad. He has been friends with one of his classmates who is also working in Hyderabad and lives in Madhapur. After two years of friendship, he invited the girl to his flat on some pretext. He gave her a soft drink laced with some intoxicant and raped her. He clicked her nude pictures and shot video while satisfying all his pervert desires.

The man then quit his job and started blackmailing her for money and other favours. When the girl resisted his efforts, Tilak threatened that he would upload the pictures on her Facebook page. He already sent a few pictures to his Whatsapp contacts. Agitated by the man's pressure tactics, the girl gathered courage and approached the SHE team of Hyderabad police who arrested the accused on Wednesday. All his gadgets including mobile and laptop were seized and an investigation is on.
