Yerran Naidu to be cremated with state honors

Senior TDP leader and former Union minister Yerran Naidu will be cremated with state honors at his native Nimmada village of Kota Bommali mandal in Srikakulam district in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.

Chief Minister N Kirankumar Reddy today directed Chief Secretary Minnie Mathew to take necessary measures to arrange for state honors for Yerran Naidu’s last rites.
Yerran Naidu died in a road accident in the small hours of today as his Mahindra Xylo rammed into an oil tanker on National High Way No 5 between Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam. The accident took place when he was returning home after attending a wedding ceremony of a TDP leader’s son in Visakhapatnam.
