Year of bitter memories, anti-women policies - Sakshi Post

The year 2015 has left behind bitter memories due to the unscrupulous policies of TDP government. The year has also seen a slew of scams in which ruling party members were involved and will be remembered as the year of anti-women policies from the State’s view point.

"The year has gone by leaving unpleasant memories of Call Money-cum-Sex racket, and the breaking out of cash for vote scam in which AP Chief Minister was named. The ruling party members’ names figure the various scams and rackets. The year also saw the suspension for one year of MLA Roja and the heart-rending  tales of DWCRA groups and Anganwadi groups," party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Thursday.
He said the farmers as well were pushed into debt trap due to the non-implementation of the loan waiver promise. The year also saw Chandrababu Naidu staying mum on the affidavit filed by the Centre on sharing of Krishna Waters. This  shows that Chandrababu has compromised the interests of the state for personal and political gains, he said.
The Chief Minister has made much noise and spoke of Section 8 immediately after the cash for vote scam broke out but seems to have come to an understanding with the Telangana counterpart.
The year has also seen the land acquisition from farmers by force and the Singapore private venture coming out of the bag as the deal was not a government to government but a private one. This apart, sand mafia, land mafia, liquor mafia and Call Money mafia with the active involvement of TDP leaders have come to the fore, he said.
