Yanamala says Rs 5000 cr inadequate for crop loan waiver
Andhra Pradesh Minister for Finance Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Friday said that the Government was mulling over providing visa on arrival facility at the airports in Tirupati, Visakhpatnam and Vijayawada.
He said the state can generate more income by promoting tourism. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi on Friday, he said that an amount of Rs.5,000 cr, allocated for croploan waiver in the current budget, was not enough for waiving off loans of farmers in the state. He said the government was trying to mop up more income from various other sources.
“Our budget allocations will create Swarnandhra. We gave enough importance for electricity and agriculture in the recent budget. Law and order situation in the state is good.,” said Yanamala.
