Wrong convention may begin, if we can't oppose now
YSR Congress party president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy is making uninterrupted attempts infavour of ‘Samaikhyandhra’.
He is meeting the leaders of all national parties in Delhi and asking their support to keep the state of Andhra Pradesh united. He met the General Secretary of CPI (M) Prakash Karat this morning to get his support for the same.
Speaking to mediapersons after the meet, Jagan said that he requested the support of the leader for keeping the state of Andhra Pradesh united.
“AP Reorganisation Bill – 2013 was introduced in the Parliament eventhough it was rejected by the state assembly. The way it was introduced in the Parliament was also undemocratic. The process of introducing it in Parliament was objectionable. No MP has said either ‘yes’ or ‘no’ for the same and the process was just ended in ten minutes. We are questioning the same. Karat has promised me to give support for ‘Samaikhyandhra’. I am thanking for his words. The time has come for all opposition parties to stand united. If we can’t oppose the same, we are only responsible for bringing one wrong convention”, said Kadapa MP.
