Yogeshwar Dutt lost his opening bout against Ganzorig Mandakhnaran of Mongolia in the men’s 65kg freestyle wrestling.

Rio de Janeiro: Indian wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt lost his men’s Freestyle 65 kilogram qualification match 0-3 against Mongolia’s Mandakhnaran Ganzorig at the Rio Olympics here on Sunday.

The Indian grappler was suffered shock defeat in the qualifying round only.

Yogeshwar, the 2012 Olympics bronze medallist in the 60kg category, was on the backfoot right from the initial stages and lost by technical points at the Carioca Arena 2 on Mat B.
