Man Rapes Girl For Six Years, Court Awards 120 Years Jail

Hyderabad: A US rape convict has been awarded with 120 years of punishment for several accounts of sexual abuse of a six-year-old girl in Iowa.

The accused, Steven Douglas Crook Jr. of Bloomfield, Iowa, was sentenced to maximum punishment on Monday for raping the girl from her infant stage till she was six years old. Along with him, his live-in girlfriend Kendra Hoover was also arrested in January this year. She had reportedly found the videos of the sexual assault but did nothing.

Reports suggest that Crook even live-streamed the rape on social media sometimes.

Crook pleaded guilty for raping the child "less than 100 times."

The victim's Attorney Marc Krickbaum told court that he would live-stream it too, encouraging his followers to watch.

Investigation into the case revealed that electronic devices with video of sexual assault. One of the storage cards was labelled "child porn and baby rape."

Crook was arrested in 2018 after National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported the crime. The child was rescued in March last year by police.
