Indian Mission In New Zealand Reaches Out To Christchurch Victims

Wellington: The Indian High Commission on Friday said any Indian caught up in the Christchurch mosque massacre and needing assistance could contact it.

"We are shocked to hear about the shooting in Christchurch. Any Indians needing assistance should contact us at 021803899 or 021850033," the mission tweeted.

"Our prayers go out to everyone who is affected," it added.

Gunmen shot dead 49 people in two mosques in Christchurch earlier in the day in what the government said was an act of terror. (IANS)
