Nalgonda Teens Burned To Death In Fire Accident Inside House At Collierville
Collierville, Tennessee: Three teenagers, all from the same family hailing from Nalgonda district, were killed when a devastating house fire burnt their home in Collierville in Tennessee, USA. The incident occurred at the 600 block of Autumn Winds Drive in Collierville around 11 pm on Sunday night .
The victims were identified as Sathwika Naik (16), Suhan Naik (15) and Jaya Suchitha (14), who belong to the same family. They belong to Gurrapu Thanda of Neredugumma mandal, Devarakonda of Nalgonda district, Telangana. The teens' father, who is a pastor at the Nalgonda Missionaries in Nalgonda, had sent them to French Camp Academy for higher studies. The children were staying with the Coudriet family who were known to them through the Collierville Bible Church.
Along with the three teens, Kari Coudriet,( 46) wife of Danny Coudriet also died in the house fire. Danny Coudriet and his son Cole Coudriet managed to escape from the fire with major burns and were taken to the hospital.
According to fire officials, there was only one working smoke alarm in the entire house, and the flames would have started in the ground floor of the house. The father, Danny Coudreit, who worked as a coach for the Memphis Nighthawks in Collierville said his son Cole (13) was the first one to notice the smoke in the house. The father and his 13-year-old escaped from the second story window. If the smoke detectors were working they could have been saved is what the Collierville Town fire officials say.
Neighbours tried to save the victims but the fire had already engulfed the house and the smoke was too heavy to get close to the house.
People close to the pastor's family in Gurrapu thanda are in a state of shock as they were a very nice family and involved in various social service activities in uplifting the people of the area.
