Woman Certified Dead By Paramedics Wakes Up In Morgue

In what could well be a scene from a horror flick or stuff nightmares are made of, a South African woman woke up alive in a morgue after being declared dead. After a road accident, the woman was taken to the Carletonville morgue after paramedics at the accident scene found she was not breathing.

But when a morgue worker checked on the body, it was discovered that the woman who met with an accident was still breathing. She was then taken to a hospital in Johannesburg. She is said to be recovering in the hospital.

Speaking about the incident, Gerrit Bradnick, operations manager of Ambulance Distress Alert, told the press that there was no proof of negligence on his company's behalf. The woman was one of several people injured in the accident, which left two other people dead.
