Won’t leave Congress : Chiranjeevi
Union Minister of State for Tourism, Chiranjeevi, on Wednesday, said that all the union ministers from Seemandhra region had fought well against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
“As a Congress leader, I might not have gone against our party high command. But, I tried my level best to inform the concerns of the people from Seemandhra region to our high command”, explained Chiranjeevi after the Telangana bill was passed in Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

“We will fight for some corrections in AP Reorganisation Bill – 2013 in Rajya Sabha. We will try to protect the interests of people in Seemandhra region in the upper house too, the way we fought for them in the lower house”, said the minister.

He, however, clarified that the process of bifurcation was started only with the acceptance from all political parties in the state. He also said that he would not leave Congress party.
