Tollywood comedian Vijay Sai's suicide case is taking one curious turn after another with each passing day. His wife and small screen actress Vanitha Reddy, who was reported to have been arrested a couple of days ago, pulled off a surprise by giving an interview to a local TV channel.

She said that women used to enjoy unrestricted access to Vijay’s bedroom on the pretext of discussing storylines of films.

Vanitha told the interviewer that she had a daughter from the marriage and that Vijay began abusing her physically and verbally after childbirth. So, she had to approach a lawyer to seek a divorce from her husband.

"Initially, Vijay thought that I would not take such a drastic step. When I filed the case in the court, Vijay developed a grouse against me," she said. She also claimed that Vijay's parents did not help him financially and Vijay used to break down several times at the way his father used to treat him. "As his film offers kept on dwindling, I used to calm him. His father Subba Rao, who gets only Rs 3,000 a month, used to stay in a single bedroom rented flat. It's only after my father bought me a three-bedroom flat that they began staying with us.

Vanitha claimed that Vijay used to abuse his mother verbally. "Out of fear, mother and father had to do Vijay's bidding.
