Woman stages silent protest in front of lover's house

The woman, K Sai Kumari, a resident of Vijayawada came to her native village of Chinnapurli in Regidi mandal for her sister's marriage about six years ago. She fell in love with Chandrasekhar of the same village, who promised to marry her. Later, he used to frequent her house in Vijayawada.

However, since November last he stopped calling her and also stated that he was not interested in marrying her. Sai Kumari immediately filed a police complaint mentioning that she was cheated by Chandrasekhar. Following no action by the police, she resorted to the silent protest and staged a sit-in at Chandrasekhar's house.
