Woman Dead, Husband Injured As Bus Hits Motorbike 

Karimnagar: A 30-year-old woman was killed and her husband was seriously injured when the motorbike they were riding was hit by a state transport bus near Gopalpur village on Saturday evening.

A bus heading to Karimnagar from Peddapalli first hit a bullock-cart and then the motorbike coming in opposite direction. T. Manemma(30), resident of Iterajpalli village, died on the spot. She was riding pillion behind her husband Pochamallu(35) who was seriously injured. He has been admitted to government hospital at Karimnagar.

Two bullocks were also killed in the accident. Police registered a case of rash and negligent driving and took the bus driver in custody.
