Girl Commits Suicide At Delhi Metro Station

The lady jumped from platform number 2 towards Samaypur Badli at Ghitorni metro station
New Delhi: An 18-year-old girl on Friday committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train at Ghitorni metro station as she was depressed.
Initially, she couldn't be identified but later she was identified as Shivani, a resident of Ghitorni, police said. Her father told police that she had recently taken Class XII exams and was worried that she hadn't done well. She was depressed for some time now.
Officials said the incident was reported at about 10:40 AM from the Ghitorni Metro station here when a train going towards Samaypur Badli was entering the platform no 2 of the station.
She was killed on the spot after she jumped before the train.
