Woman allegedly raped, murdered in Anantapur

An Anganwadi worker was allegedly raped and brutally murdered by unidentified persons at Sasanakota village of Parigi mandal in Anantapur on Monday.

According to reports, the miscreants slit the throat of Lakshmi Devamma and killed her.
Police however suspect that she was abducted, raped and later murdered.
Police shifted the body to a government hospital for post-mortem. An FIR against unidentified persons was registered at Parigi police station.
