Will vote against FDI: Mekapati

"If the government will provide jobs in all sectors, then I will invite FDI", said YSR Congress Party MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy on Wednesday in New Delhi. He made it clear that he will vote against FDI proposal.

Mekapati said he was not supporting the FDIs since the move will destroy small retailers and hurt the interests of the farmers.

Making his announcement that he will vote against FDI, the YSRCP MP said it would create problems for crores of people if implemented.
This move on part of the YSR Congress created a flutter in the TDP political circles as they never expected this stand from YSRCP.
