'Will support the party committed to Seemandhra's development'
As the new state of Telangana is about to be formed, a big question mark arises on the fate of APNGO that played an important role in anti-bifurcation protests.
Its leader Ashok Babu became a key figure during these agitations. Now as the agitations have stopped with the passing of AP Reorganisation Bill – 2013 in both the houses of Parliament, the next move of Ashok Babu is being anticipated.
“We fought well against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. Now, we will support the party which is truly committed to the development of Seemandhra state”, said Ashok Babu.
As he made it clear that they won’t support either Congress or BJP, which joined hands to divide the state, the only two options in front of Babu are YSRCP and TDP.
It has to be seen who gets the support of Babu in the next general elections, as his support may have some effect in the outcome of the elections.
