Will Naidu say yes to Gadde?
"Money is important in politics. But money is not everything in politics," said TDP ex-MP Gadde Rammohan Rao on Wednesday.
Speaking to the media, he said that he will spend money on behalf of TDP if he is given a Lok Sabha seat. He added: "My demand is MP seat. But whatever be the case, I will bow down to the commands of Chandrababu Naidu. He also questioned the fate of old leaders who had spent a lot of money for the party, if new party members who are shelling out money are given importance.
Gadde, who was elected to Lok Sabha once and lost two times as MLA, is hoping to get the Vijayawada MP seat in the upcoming elections.
Gadde recently expressed his displeasure over Naidu’s decision to elevate Kesineni Nani, owner of Kesineni Travels, as Vijayawada party in-charge and also nominating him as a candidate for Vijayawada Parliament seat.
Gadde also said that he would ask Naidu to field him from Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat. Reiterating his earlier stand, Gadde said that he would soon meet Naidu and get assurance from him.
Now, the question is should Naidu fail to give in to Gadde's demand, what will Gadde's next move be?
Another leader in Vijayawada, Vallabhaneni Vamsi was disappointed for losing his post of Vijayawada urban party chief. He was also upset over Kesineni Nani being made the Vijayawada in-charge.
