'Will lobby on par with Chandrababu'

Claiming that he would leave no stone unturned to ensure the development of Telangana region, newly elected TRS leader in Lok Sabha T Jitender Reddy said,“I can lobby on par with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu." 

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad on Tuesday, he said, “I can bring adequate funds and projects for the development of Telangana from the Central Government using my contacts with the top BJP leaders in New Delhi.”

He clarified that they would protest over Polavaram ordinance in the first session of Parliament itself. “We will try to obstruct the Polavaram ordinance in Lok Sabha,” said the MP.

He said that they would not allow NDA government to do injustice to Telangana.

“I will soon meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We will invite Narendra Modi to Telangana,” said Reddy.

He clarified that they would maintain friendly relations with NDA government and they are not an opposition party to NDA government.

It may be recalled that Jitendar was earlier with BJP as its MP.
