'Will ask centre Rs.5000 crore for building capital'

Congress Rajya Sabha MP T.Subbarami Reddy said that they would provide all forms of support to the Government of Andhra Pradesh in its effort to bring the special status for Andhra Pradesh. 

He attended the meeting of Andhra Pradesh MPs conducted by Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu at Lake View Guest House on Sunday.

The issues like budget session of Parliament, projects and others were discussed in the meeting.

Speaking to reporters soon after the meeting, the MP said that they had decided to send the union government a list of 34 demands.

“We have decided in the meeting to pressurize the union government for an amount of Rs.5000 crore for building the new capital for Andhra Pradesh,” said the MP.
