Why Taapsee Refused To Attend This Meeting?

Actress Taapsee Pannu has rebelled again. After fighting gender discrimination, Taapsee has now stood against fairness creams.

She has recently turned down an invitation to one such event in Jaipur as a fairness cream brand has sponsored the event.

I agree it was a last-minute call, but, when found out that I would have to pose at the event with the fairness brand in the background, I decided to take my name off the event. I have actually lost out on a few films because of being fair, so I will not propagate fairness in any way

She was to take part in an event in Jaipur that sought to highlight women empowerment issues. She was to speen on cinema and their changing roles.

But at the last moment, she came to know that it was sponsored by a fairness creem brand. She said she didn’t want to support something she did not believe in. She said she condemns any kind of discrimination.”
