Why is KCR's vote costly?

TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao cast his vote along with his wife at Chintamadaka of Siddipet constituency on Wednesday.

And this vote, is different from other votes he would have cast, as this vote is costlier. Reportedly, the TRS supremo used helicopter to fly from his farmhouse in Medak to the polling booth in Chintamadaka.

Previously, we reported that KCR had hired a chopper to cover as much ground as possible for his election campaign. It is learnt that a single-engine helicopter costs anywhere between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000 per hour, and the cost of a double engine chopper will be double.

Voting is underway simultaneously for 17 Lok Sabha constituencies and 119 Assembly seats in Telangana

Film actors K Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and Nandamuri Balakrishna, badminton star Saina Nehwal and DGP B Prasada Rao also cast their votes.
