Why is Chiranjeevi planning his arogyayatra? - Sakshi Post

The actor-turned politician Chiranjeevi is a champion without a cause. Not long ago, he claimed that there was no coordination in the Congress Party and this was one of the main reason for its decline.

He has said repeatedly that the Congress party needs to be revitalized at the grassroots level, but unfortunately, he lacks the charisma to do so.

Chiranjeevi is now coming up with a new plan which he hopes will give a direction to his political future. Instead of criticizing the Congress party he proposes to set out on what he calls a 'arogyayatra'. The idea behind this, according to him, used to create awareness about the disease that are spreading across the state.

Chiranjeevi's blood banks will be the nodal points for his yatra where medical checkups and treatments will be offered. He has already held meetings with several doctors in this regard since his yatra is expected to cover nearly 15 districts. It appears that with talk of Jaipal Reddy likely to replace Kiran Kumar Reddy, Chiranjeevi is fast slipping into oblivion. Arogyayatra is his way of trying to counter this since he has neither landed Cabinet berth at the centre, nor has been made PCC Chief here.

In the final analysis, what emerges is that Chiranjeevi is still seen as a PRP leader and not as a Congressman.
