'Why did Kiran ignore Intel inputs?'

Telangana Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar said "Congress party has lost its image and the trust of public after Thursday's bomb blasts at Dilsukhnagar.

Telangana Congress MPs on Friday met state congress affairs in-charge, Ghulam Nabi Azad to complain about Kiran Kumar Reddy and his government's functioning. 

Later, during the journalists meeting, MPs demanded to know why Kiran Kumar Reddy was careless even after receiving a warning from the Centre about the blasts. Why did he fail to take any action to prevent the disaster, they questioned. 

Ponnam also demanded a thorough inquiry into the police failure and government pattern. He also added that public safety was more important to government than filing cases against MPs for frivolous reasons. Ponnam added that Intelligence only has information about ministers and their movements, but not about terrorist activities.

The rivalry between Kiran Kumar Reddy and the Telangana congress MPs goes back to the time when the latter staged a Rail Roko. It may be recalled that the CM had got cases registered against Ponnam and other few T Congress MPs. Thereafter, the relations between the two turned sour. Also, this isn't the first time the T Congress MPs have complained against the chief minister.
