Why Did AR Rahman Choose Vijay Over Chiru?
We already told you that musical maestro AR Rahman opted out of Megastar Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy over date and remuneration issues.
AR Rahman was in Hyderabad recently for his encore concert during which time he told a reporter, "I was looking forward to working on this project but things didn't work out as per my schedule. Even though I wanted to work on this project, things didn't work in my favour as there's only a certain amount of work one can take up."
Meanwhile, Tamil actor Vijay is all set to team up with AR Murugadoss of Spyder fame after Mersal. And we hear that AR Rahman is in talks to score the music for the Murugadoss-Vijay flick.
This bit of news has left mega fans wondering how can AR Rahman accommodate a Tamil flick when he said he excused himself out of the Chiru film.
It's worth mentioning here that apart from Chiranjeevi, Sye Raa Narasimha also features Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, Kannada star Kiccha Sudeep and Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara in key roles. The movie is all set to go to sets by the second week of December.
