‘Why CBI probe when there is no quid pro quo’

‘Why CBI probe when there is no quid pro quo’ - Sakshi Post

YSR Congress on Monday demanded an explanation from the State and the Central governments for foisting false cases against YSRCP president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

YSR Congress spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao said Ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabita Indra Reddy, who resigned to their posts, made it clear that all the decisions with regard to 26 controversial GOs were taken by the Cabinet only not by a single minister or by the chief minister (YSR).

They also clarified that there was no quid pro quo in the CBI chargesheet against them. How would Jagan Mohan Reddy be liable in the case? Then, what was the need to hold an investigation when there was no quid pro quo as alleged by CBI, Gattu questioned. It was a clear indication that the Government used the investigating agency CBI as its weapon for political gains against Jagan, he remarked.
