Why Bethapudi farmers want Pawan Kalyan to come to their village?
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan's vanishing act after the elections is drawing flack from his own party members.
Scores of farmers from Bethapudi village in AP capital area came on to roads holding Jana Sena party flags to protest against land-pooling for the construction of new capital. Nearly 30 farmers demanded Pawan Kalyan to come out and question the TDP Government for forcing the farmers to surrender their land.
They recalled that Pawan Kalyan had said he would question the politicians if any injustice was meted out to the general public. " Believing Pawan's promises, we voted the party he supported. Now, we want him to come out and question this Government," the farmers alleged.
On Thursday, Chandrababu had said that after February 28, the state government will be compelled to invoke the Land Acquisition Act to procure 500 acres of land by land acquisition system.
It remains to be seen will Pawan Come out on behalf of Bethapudi villagers.
