White Paper On TRS Promises Is Needed: Ponnam
New Delhi: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Vice President Ponnam Prabhakar said on the occasion of Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) party plenary there was need for a white paper on ruling the party's promises made and their fulfillment. Speaking to media, he recalled the promises made by TRS during elections which include three acres of land to Dalits, job for a household and double bed room houses. "There is need to explain how many have been fulfilled till date and also how many actually were initiated by Congress while TRS claims the credit for them," he said.
Comparing Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao to Emperor Nero, Ponnam said that farmers were committing suicide in the state but KCR was traveling to Bengaluru and Bengal to form alternative front at national level. He should first take care of the state and its people, he asserted.
Ponnam called upon the TRS workers who would come to attend plenary to question what has TRS achieved since it had come to power. He accused that in the name of project redesign, TRS has wasted huge amount of public money.
