When Chandrababu comes visiting, ask him this one question: Jagan
Slamming TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu for hoodwinking the public with his false promises, YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asked the people of Kandukuru to ask Chandrababu only one question when he comes visiting.
Addressing a large gathering as part of the YSR 'Jana Bheri' electioneering, YS Jagan said "Ayya Chandrababu Naidu garu, you have ruled the state for nine years. Now, you are promising free schemes, but let me ask you this, did you implement even one scheme when you were in power?". Urging the crowds, he said,"Ask him this when he come here."
He added, "Since Chandrababu knows that this will be his last elections, he has resorted to making false promises." Chandrababu has no credibility or honesty. "He has been touring the state telling lies and promising impossible schemes. But I have inherited, from YSR, the legacy of not going back on my word and will implement all the poll promises without fail," YS Jagan said.
Appealing to the people who came to attend his speech in large numbers, braving the scorching heat, YS Jagan said, "You have to select a person who will stand by his word and not abandon you, once the elections are over."
Drawing a contrast between the governance of YSR and Chandrababu, YS Jagan said that Chandrababu has closed down 65 PSUs and rendered 26,000 employees jobless. He has increased the price of one kg rice from Rs 2 to Rs 5.25, and lifted prohibition and encouraged belt shops.
"He has been promising to give one job per family. There are 3.5 crore families in the state and providing jobs to all, is not a feasible. He is also promising to waive farm and DWACRA loans which amount to Rs 1.50 lakh crores while the state budget is just 1.25 crores. Loan waiver is a Central subject and a state government cannot do it. Such blatant lies are being doled out as election promises," added YS Jagan.
