Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a strict vegetarian. So whenever he's on a foreign visit, there are special chefs flown in from India to prepare special delicacies for him. Remember the Gujarati menu during his US visit?
Now, the prime minister is in Davos to attend the World Economic Forum and attract investors. He also met CEOs of Indian firms there.
The Prime Minister is all set to have his dinner at the Intercontinental Davos. Here's a look at the three course traditional thaali meal curated by chefs of Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
The thaali will have Gucchi khumb masaledar, zaffrani faldari kofta curry, bhuni makai aur chilgoza ki tikki, palak paneer, dum aloo benarsi, dal makhni, gobhi mutter ki tehari, anardana raita, dhokla, papad, served with achar, chutney, kachumber, tawa paratha, chapati and theplas.
On the non-veg menu are murgh tariwala, goa fish curry, shikampuri kebab, palak paneer, dum aloo benarasi, dal makhni, gobhi mutter ki tehari, anardana raita, dhokta, papad and the same condiments and flat breads.
Gajar halwa cake, elaichi bhappa doi, coconut chikki and sukhri crumb will be part of the Dessert menu.
