What did Pawan Kalyan say?
First it was ‘When will he speak.’!
On Monday morning the question was ‘what will he speak.’ After he finally spoke, the question on most lips is “what did he speak?”
Yes, we are talking of on-screen power star and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Pawan Kalyan, who played absentee politician for 35 long days after the infamous Cash for Votes scam broke out, finally spoke. But, as is his wont, he left everyone thoroughly confused.
He has a word of praise for KCR . He hailed KCR for appointing an Andhraite to develop Telangana’s biggest temple Yadagirigutta. But, he asked TRS to mind its language.
For Chandrababu, he was both kind and cruel. He said he would not speak on Revanth Reddy and Cash for Vote scam as it is sub-judice. But, he said at a time when both the states were facing so many problems, why should the CMs be politicking. He also questioned Chandrababu Government over curbing blacking out broadcasts of some TV channels.
He soothed the Andhraite ears by slamming TRS and Harish Rao for repeated use of derogatory words for Andhraites. But, soon, he told them point blank that they do not have any right over Hyderabad. The TDP should focus on developing on AP, not on worrying over Hyderabad. He demanded a CBI probe into phone tapping.
He did not leave even Narendra Modi. “Modi should address the disputes between AP and Telangana,” he said. In the end, everyone was left wondering what Pavan Kalyan actually meant and what he said.
