What did Botsa discuss with Azad in Delhi?
It's a known fact that PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana went to Delhi on Saturday for consultations with senior leaders on Telangana and other affairs of the state.
It is learnt that the AP Congress Committee president met AP party affairs in-charge and union health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and briefed him about the status of Telangana agitation as well as about the results of the recently held cooperative society elections. It may be recalled that amid rumours of rigging, the Congress won the cooperative polls.
Post meeting, Botsa refused to disclose any information about what was discussed. He reportedly only talked about Telangana and said he was to meet other leaders too.
However, speculation is rife that Azad did discuss many other serious issues with Botsa as he was summoned to Delhi by the High Command. Sources say that topics such as Botsa's open criticism of the CM, his announcement on expulsion of Congress legislators too figured in the meeting.
Now, what happens to Botsa's post? Willl he retain his PCC chief post? Read this space for more developments on this issue...
