Why Do We Observe World Rose Day On September 22?  

World Rose Day 2019: Rose is an emblem of affection, tender and concern. September 22 is observed as World Rose Day, for bringing happiness within the lives of individuals worldwide who are suffering from cancer.  It is also a day to unfold consciousness concerning the illness. On World Rose Day, hand-made roses, playing cards and presents are provided to the individuals who are fighting the cancer battle. World Rose Day is observed in the memory of a 12-year-old Melinda Rose of Canada who was diagnosed with Askin's Tumor, an uncommon form of blood cancer.

Melinda Rose small life touched the lives of many. Until her final breath, she didn’t quit hope of survival. Within the final six months of her life, she continued to battle and made every day joyful with positive vibes.

She would write e-mails, poems and letters and ensured that she introduced pleasure in folks’s lives. Together with her wonderful human spirit and zest for all times, she touched many lives and have become unforgettable.

World Rose Day is devoted to her and plenty of most cancers sufferers like her who battle the illness bravely. The way in which Melinda Rose touched folks’s lives, World Rose Day is a reminder to provide again to the most cancers sufferers by spending high-quality time with them and bringing pleasure and joy in their lives.
