We are ready for local body polls: Election Commission

The State Election Commission (SEC) has expressed its readiness to hold local body elections as per Monday's Supreme Court's order.

Election Commissioner Ramakanta Reddy said the election date would be announced soon after receiving reservation details from the Government. Replying to a question, he said the election would be organised within 20 days after receiving the details.
