Water Turns Into Oil In Well, Locals Throng To Claim Their Share

Gaya (Bihar): In a rare incident, oil has been found in a well in Bihar’s Gaya district on Saturday. While drawing the water from the well with bucket as locals do regularly, the villagers found the water smelling like oil.

To clear their doubt, the residents first checked if the liquid was actually oil by trying to light it. As soon as the liquid caught fire, scores of people gathered to collect the oil. As soon as the news spread about the miraculous oil-like substance, locals from nearby villages thronged in large numbers to get their share.

Subsequently the residents informed the police and government authorities about the oil-like substance with inflammable properties. The police came to the location and brought the situation under control and cordoned off the well.

A police officer said, “We got the information that some oil like substance was found in the and we sealed the well. The government authorities will send a team to investigate the matter”.

Administrative officials are keeping a close watch on the well.
