Water level in Hussain Sagar rises
Rains continued to lash Hyderabad for the past three days, increasing water levels in Hussain Sagar, leading to tension in nearby areas. According to reports, water level rose to the FTL of 513.41 meters today.
The full capacity of the lake is over 513.51 meters, while the present level of water is over 513.25 meters, reports said.
Water level increased as the rain water from twin cities areas are adding up to the lake water. People of Arundati nagar, Ratnanagar, Datta Nagar, Domalaguda, Himayat Nagar and Ashok Nagar are having sleepless nights fearing floods. If the water level increases anymore, these areas will be submerged.
