Water from 4 irrigation projects today 

Hyderabad: Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao on Thursday released water from the four irrigation projects in Mahbubnagar district.

The minister inaugurated the trial runs of lift irrigation projects - Bhima, Nettempadu, Koilsagar and Kalwakurthy. The first three lift irrigation projects will supply water to a total of 4.5 lakh acres, while Kalwakurthy project is said to provide water for 3.65 lakh acres.

Jupalli Krishna Rao, Laxma Reddy and Telangana State Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Niranjan Reddy and MP Jitendar Reddy participated.
