'Warangal will be developed on par with Hyderabad'

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Rajaiah conducted a review meeting on the setting up of Kaloji Health University in Warangal on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that Warangal will have a special place in the state with the formation of health university here. “We should be grateful to KCR and TRS for the decision to set up the university here,” said Rajaiah.

The deputy chief minister said that Warangal would be developed on par with Hyderabad in future.

Suresh Chandra was appointed as the first vice-chancellor of the university and he will take charge on Saturday.

It may be recalled that Telangana Chief Ministers Office has declared that the health university would be formed here and it would be named after well-known poet Kaloji.

The name of the university will be ‘Kaloji University of Health Sciences’.
