Warangal Student Dies In Hit-and-run Accident

Warangal: A 19-year-old boy studying in B Tech first year died in a road accident this morning. According to police, the accident occurred near RTC Colony in Lingala Ganapuram mandal, Warangal district.

The police have identified the deceased as Kethavath Bharagav, resident of KKP Colony in Jalalpur village of Nalgonda district. Bharagav was studying in B Tech first year at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal. He was coming to the NIT on a bike when an unknown vehicle hit the bike near RTC Colony. It is said he died on the spot.

The police have shifted the body to Jangaon government hospital for post-mortem. Case has been registered by the police as hit-and-run accident and hunt is on to find out the vehicle that hit Bharagav's bike.
