Volvo nightmare haunts: passengers panic finding smoke

Smoke emanating from a Karnataka based Volvo bus caused panic among passengers at Kodikonda in Ananthapur on Saturday.
According to reports, the bus was heading from Puttaparthi to Bangalore when the driver noticed smoke at the rear end of the bus.
The bus was pulled over at the Kodikonda checkpost of Chilamatturu mandal and some of the 40 passengers aboard jumped out of the bus while breaking the window panes. Rest of the passengers were safely alighted.
